Jiwen Lu

Jiwen Lu is an Adjunct Research Scientist at the Advanced Digital Sciences Center (ADSC), Singapore. He received the B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering and the M.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from the Xi'an University of Technology, Xi'an, China, in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2011. His research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition, and machine learning. He has authored/co-authored over 100 scientific papers in these areas, where more than 30 papers were published in IEEE Transactions Journals (T-PAMI/T-IP/T-CSVT/T-IFS) and top-tier computer vision conferences (ICCV/CVPR/ECCV). He serves as an Area Chair for ICME 2015 and ICB 2015, and a Special Session Chair for VCIP 2015. Recently, he gives tutorials at CVPR 2015, FG 2015, ACCV 2014, ICME 2014 and IJCB 2014.
